    Default Unusual Color Combos?

What are some of your favorite but unusual and or wild color combos? I’m working on planning a couple of quilts and have been accused of being far too subdued in my color choices.

Orange and purple are Great together. I tend to love colors and am fairly fearless when working with colors

Peach and aqua. If you look on Youtube for a video called Modern Southwestern Style Quilt by Midnight Quilt show, you will see an example of these colors together.

I like the looks of bold colored quilts. I never buy fabrics in those bold colors or large prints. I just buy neutrals and pastels mainly. I will buy bright yellows, pinks and purples and use with lighter colors..

If the colours are pleasing to you, who cares what others say? There are all white or off white quilts that are wonderful.

I like the Amish quilts with their fairly limited color schemes and dark backgrounds. I also have a long range plan to make a quilt in pink and orange. Not my favorite combo, but it looks summery and vintage and fun, so I want to do it just because.
