Congrats. You have found someone who really appreciates what it takes to make a quilt and values you as a person doing all the work. Enjoy.

Listen to your hubby and be glad your work is appreciated. The only bad experience I have had was a church group asked me if I would embroidery a few fleece throws for them to give to a nursing home.I said okay. When they were brought to me was 42.I did all of them and DID NOT expect pay but a Thank You would have been nice.Never heard how they liked them or anything.I was visiting at the nursing home after that and saw a couple of them, commented to 1 of the nurses and was told that this group gave them and stated that they did all the lovely embroidery. All I can say is Thank You God for blessing me and I will let you take care of the rest.

Maybe in yours eyes it's simple - but it's precious to him. And worth every cent he paid you. (I think its adorable!)

The embroidery makes it so extra special! I mean, obviously it was made just for her! Nice job. And I'm glad you got paid plenty. That was wonderful.

Thanks - that's an excellent mantra.

I understand that you might feel this way since so many people do not understand what amount of time and money goes into handmade quilts.Give yourself a hug and be happy you found someone who values yyour time and effort!
