    i'd love to see an oak leaf applique out of the dark fabric in the center.

    I think the darker fabric dresses it up....makes it rich looking! Your quilting is gorgeous!

    I love BOTH fabrics but i think which i used would depend on the room it would go in. If it was in the kitchen, i like the Pumpkins and then use the dark fabric for binding and the back. If it will be used in the family/living room i would use the dark fabric. But thats what would work in my house.

    But honestly, I absolutely don't think you can go wrong..... Your quilting is the highlight and of this topper and it is BEAUTIFUL!

    Why not put a strip of the leaves, then a strip of the pumpkins, or vise versa, around the center, with the dark as binding?

    Would look nice as a pillow too. I agree with using the darker brown to add sophistication.

    I think the pumpkins would overwhelm that beautiful quilting. I'd go green.
