using same material question

I ended up showing both of the boys the materials. they both love the dog paws and they said to use brown material with it. They also picked out one other fabric for the backing. Glad I asked them. It will not be the most exciting quilt to look at but least I know they will use it. Oh and both said....No flowers...LOL
