Put your stretchy side down and let your dog feet deal with the fabric. I tried piecing using my walking foot on my Bernina and it didn't like the fabric being so skinny.

I have a hard time with the 1/4" seam being consistent using the walking foot. I find that I do better using the 1/4" foot.

I only use machines with a built in walking foot: Pfaff and Babylock. And I never piece without one!

I have a walking foot with my Bernina Activa and it works fine and has markings on the foot that indicate the 1/4" however I like my 1/4" foot better....it has a little guide on the side that helps keep your fabric in line...

I use mine for binding & anything thicker. For piecing I don't care for it. I have trouble getting a good 1/4"
