The kind of paper used for baking is called parchment paper. It does not have the shiny plastic side and will not stick to fabric when ironed. This paper can be used to protect your ironing board and iron when using fusibles; fusibles will not stick to it, so it is a good substitute for much more expensive Teflon-like applique sheets sold for this purpose.
