I love variegated threads... I use Superior , and when Jo'anns has thread for 1/2 price buy the coats & clark 100 percent cotton. My thread stash is starting to get out of control with all the choices.

Sulky has expanded their Blendables line of variegated thread several times since it came out in 2009. Perhaps CT should reconsider their decision to stop production.

Of course not! I love using variegated threads. It brings a whole new meaning to creativity IMHO.

I use variegated threads a lot because it take the guess work out of which color do I go with and they blend really well.

It is still available. Blendables is one of my favorites. I have used it for both machine quilting, and for applique. I hope it stays available forever!

I love Superior's Rainbows. Or I did till the last spool I had, which didn't play well at all. But usually it sews like a dream, so I'm hoping that one was a one-off bad one.

I just picked up 3 different colors of variegated Aurifil threads from fabric.com. I know Superior Threads carry a lot- I even have it in silk threads- so I don't think it is 'going out of style' our local Joann's carries a lot of variegated thread too.
