I recently purchased a new Viking Sapphire 830 and have madly piecing away with it. I really love the quality of the Viking machines as I purchased one 10 years ago but traded it in to get the wider bed machine which is much easier to use when actually quilting the quilt.

Well, I've been through the books that came with the machine, but can't quite figure out how to set it up or program it for quilting the quilt.

Can anyone out there help me? :(

Well, I have a Sapphire 875Q - just bought it in March - so I have a little experience with it - but I don't have alot of experience with this stuff. I don't know if I can help you I am still figuring mine out. Best course of action - call the dealer you bought it from and they can answer anything. Good luck...

Steph: I have the same machine and when I bought it there was a CD with it that talks you thru all the different set-ups. I took my laptop and put it right beside the machine and followed along on the machine as the CD played. There were also 4 instruction books each with different topics. If you didn't get the CD, go to the HQ website and you should be able to get the instructions there and/or download what you need.
Good luck with your new machine-I still haven't figured out all the functions on mine (2 yrs later) LOL.
