vintage bell sewing
#2

I found some pictures on the web of a mini Bell sewing machine that is VERY tiny - looks to be even smaller than a Featherweight but it takes full sized Greist attachments.
Apparently these can sell up to $300 on eBay.

I have a small one in a case that looks like a briefcase. My sewing machine mechanic said it was a tailor's machine and that once upon a time they came to your house and did alterations on clothing with these tiny machines. I have not used mine but he cleaned and oiled it and said it worked.
