Nice projects everyone!

I worked on various projects and am happy with what I accomplished. It really helps knowing other people are doing quilting related projects.

Love your quilt tops, b.zang and geevee... both will be so pretty. Love the Arkansas Crossroads pattern.

well, the weekend is now over and I got a little lost in a mystery novel! But I did get 2 wall hangings (world maps) quilted for my DD and oldest GS for Christmas, got a customer quilt loaded on the long arm and ready to start quilting tomorrow. Still disassembling cowboy shirts for 3 customer memorial quilts and have the blocks ready for an August (swimsuit & inner tube) Sunbonnet Sue exchange where I need 12 blocks. Basically all since Friday morning. house is messy and laundry still in the dryer though!

Geevee, I bought fabric last week to make this very same quilt! I love the colors you chose. Can't wait to see it finished.

I was able to get the shadow around the last 35 blocks. I also got the first sashing cut and about 7 of them sewn. All in all, a successful weekend of sewing.

I got all the blocks done for my friend's retirement quilt. They are on the design wall now. I'll get them sewn together this week as well as getting batting and backing fabric so I can hopefully get it sandwiched and ready to quilt by the end of the month.

Thanks Christine, looking forward to seeing yours once you get it put together. And thanks Sewbizgirl, I love the look of this pattern too.

I think I have all the seam directions aligned correctly now so on to the sewing. This really helped to narrow down my pile of scrap fabrics but still had to use some fat quarter sections so it wasn't too turquoise (which seems to be the majority of my scraps).

Thanks again for a great VQW, Raggiemom!

You're welcome everyone. I enjoy these VQW, I usually get quite a bit done too.
