Here's another finish, from one of judy's mystery quilt from last year. They are done, yea!! Now to find a place for the table runner. The table runner is 2xs the length pictured. I didn't have enoug space to take a complete pic.? It might go on my table.

Very nice happylab! Finishes as so nice.
I've had bad luck, the computer on my LA decided to act up. I think I need to reload the software. I decided to go robotic to save time, and now I'm at a standstill. Machine works fine if I had decided to go FM - then I don't even need to turn the computer on. I'll let DH mess with it later, I'm going to go work on my 365 blocks a year quilt. That is another "lots of little pieces" project. I've been using scraps, and once this is done I'm going to cut out 450 3.5" squares in dark and another 450 in light, and make a HST quilt. Hopefully that will help use up scraps.

Quite truthfully, I'm afraid to tackle the next step in this project. Instructions say to sandwich by blanket stitching all the black edges. I've changed my needle, found the right thread, cleaned my machine, and now I'm further avoiding by telling you about the project. On a recent trip to the Yukon, I picked up a collection of kits like this thinking they would make cute little Christmas gifts.

Been working on a paper piecing project called Arcadia. Left it alone most all week till late last night. Now I want to at least the the 12 sections to each block assembled together. Found out I'd stitched a couple sections together wrong so frogged them before I headed for bed. Didn't want that to stare me in the face this morning. My goal is to get all 12 blocks assembled and then if time, cut the triangles that go around them. Don't need to have this project finished for another year but don't want to wait till the last moment either as I still have to decide on quilting patterns. I'm splitting the original pattern into 2 lap size quilts and by adding another section of triangles on either side will make them around 70L x 60W each. I'm using mostly batiks as shown in the photo and will also be using 2 different navy blues for the background.
I love, love, LOVE this quilt!!! OH.My.WORD! So bright and eye-popping. Your background fabric is perfect for the pattern! Wow!

I didn't have a root canal after all on Friday. I had nausea and more, probably the normal reaction to antibiotics. So I called to reschedule it for tomorrow.
I finished cutting all my pieces---yes, they ARE easy, but time-consuming, as least for me because it took me awhile to play with the pieces enough to realize I didn't like one of the fabrics I'd chosen. No big deal. Rather be slow and satisfied than quick and regretful.
Piecing should be a breeze if I get and stay in the groove.

I finished my Wizard of Oz wall hanging for my niece's Christmas present. Still having trouble accessing my pictures for some reason, will keep working on that. I didn't get much else done today as DH and I went appliance shopping. We now have a new stove, over the range microwave, dishwasher and freezer arriving Saturday. We also bought a garbage disposal while out and then installed that this afternoon. So all in all, it was a very productive weekend. It sounds like many of you accomplished quite a bit as well. I'll start a new thread Thanksgiving morning for those who can join us sometime over the weekend. The next regular VQW will be December 16-18.

Really pretty, bzang!
I finished putting together all the slash blocks and got them trimmed, the side pieces made and pressed, still need to trim them up but laid everything out to get a general idea on which side pieces go where:
