Default I will definetely join you!

I love your blocks and lay out choice. This quilt is going to be spectacular.

I am currently working on a Double Irish Chain quilt top for a very special friend of mine. I have all but one block sewn together ( I miss counted). LOL. Perhaps later on today, I will sit down and get it assembled. But, early this morning, I began setting up my Quilting Motif on tear away stabilizer squares. If I accomplish completing all of the sketches, I will be thrilled for today. I have only definetely decided on the center section and still have to decide on the remainder of the block. I do have a general idea though.

Thought I would share photos and really keep myself motivated! I apologize for my pictures taking up a ton of space, I really need to sit down and resize....but something else always comes along first. I will check back in a little while to see how everyone else is doing!

Beautiful butterfly quilt!! I have been busy today. I went to Joannes to get what I needed to make my girls their backpacks, and the batting for potholders. i have been organizing my stash and have a box of pieces to press, cut and organize, so i know what I have to work with for scrappy quilts. In between when I have to stop for a break, since I lose breath easily, I work on hand quilting a baby quilt for my daughter's best friend..A little of this and a little of that!!

I just got back from going to the fabric storm in the worst lighting storm I have ever seen. One of the bolts hit the street right in front of us and then a big boom. Thought I was going to have a heartattack. We made it to the store and thankfully they had two yards left bought the two even though I just need 4 11 inch blocks. Then I bought a bunch of other fabrics...Yikes..haven't done that in ages...

I'm so glad you were able to get the fabric to complete your quilt I love the butterflies! Glad the lightning didn't strike you. That was frightening! Can't wait to see what you make with the other fabric you purchased.

So glad you found the fabric that you needed. I still have 3 blocks to finish tracing the center. Life sometimes gets in the way of quilting. LOL. Hubby is finishing getting dinner ready; after dishes I should have the remainder of the evening to finish my tracing and get ready for quilting them tomorrow.

CoyoteMagic how fabulous your husband is involved in your quilting. Just the other day, my hubby actually made the comment that he has been thinking about learning to quilt since becoming disabled. I think it would be great, but will have to wait and see what happens.
