Thanks all for the visits and pictures. I did very little yesterday, mostly had a quiet day with the hubby. It was lovely outside, crisp but bright and sunny, Saturday had been much more cold and overcast. We decided to fire up the grill and make it worth our while so did a full set of burgers, steaks, and a few hot dogs -- enough for 2-3 days of dinner. My hair smells rather deliciously like smoke on one hand and making a hair wash today a priority on the other hand.

Tomorrow I'm going to Costco, my son requested some items at our next trip and it's time for that. To minimize contact and all the stuff we do here, he'll come out here to pick up the groceries so I won't get to see the grandbundle -- haven't seen him since Christmas and he's now 6 months old! Not so much a bundle any more but a separate moving little human now.

But today I'm about to go back to those Bunny Stars and I will have Leon on my mind. I cut out all the blades of the stars, I decided on using multiple fabrics, no more than 3 of any one type. I arrived at 3 because that's how many one of my first short scrap strips made! The background pieces are ready. I do intend to set-in the squares in the corners and not make it a long diagonal seam but that's what I'm saying now. After I try a few maybe I'll change my mind, I know I would have liked this better with my Bernina and the auto thread cutter, but it didn't make it to the shop before lock down... I have plenty of the background fabric if I decide to recut it into triangles.

Thimblebug6000, love your Raspberry Rabbits, Quiltingvagabon, wonderful quilt, Irishgal, your curtains look great,

Here is what I worked on. It's the third time I've made this quilt and will be glad when it's done.
