I have the last six embroidery blocks done and getting ready to start on the boots. I have no idea why but it's taken me 45 minutes to find this thread again..LOL Anyway- still sewing along.

Well, add me to the "I was going to clean but this sounds better" list. My goal today is to finished stabilizing the inherited Dresden Plate blocks, find an appropriately-sized circle template for the centers, and applique the centers.

I'm in! I'm still working on my snowman quilt from the last time. I also started hand embroidery on a small art quilt.

Yeah! Virtual Quilting Bee! It's going to be a fun weekend. I'm going to be trying my hand at paper piecing a Union Jack block (free pattern from Craftsy), cutting my Civil War reproduction fabric into squares for my Civil War Buckshot Pin Cushion (I have emery sand on order to fill it), ironing and marking my fabric for this embroidery pattern: http://www.123stitch.com/item/Bobbie...ry-Kit/13-2553, sewing charm squares for my Christmas quilt, making some test embroideries with my new embroidery machine, installing software for my embroidery machine, and organizing the container I keep all my current project materials in.

Yay - reorganized the sewing room last weekend, so I'm free to join in this weekend. I'll be attending a Sew and Meet for Quilts for Kids on Saturday (hoping to get the binding on 3 quilts) and will quilt away Sunday afternoon/evening while my hubby watches NFL playoff games.

Wow, Irishgal you have lots to do. I have been putting off the yard work so that will be first thing tomorrow. But I want to join in later in the day! Still haven't taken my camera in for repair, they will probably tell me you just have to buy a new one. I hate this throw away mentality but if no one will fix it for less than a new one costs, kind of crazy. So sorry I will not be able to share pictures but love to see everyone elses.

Oh and there is Mystery Train #8 to climb aboard also!

I will join in. Yesterday I finished all the unfinished blocks for a BOM from a few years back. Today I cut out the cornerstones, sashings, and borders for it. I am ready to get those put together and I can call it another finish. I also organized my BOM project sheets into sheet protectors and a notebook. Tomorrow I will continue work on the BOM project.

Count me in -- I have 4 pair of jeans to cut into circles for the next jeans quilt. I'm still working on my applique quilt. Last VQD I was on block 3. I'm now on block 19. Also want to put the next round on the "All Star" quilt I'm designing for my grandson. On Sunday my granddaughter will come up to start on her chevron quilt.

I'm in. I have a baby quilt top that I need to finish. If I get through that, I have another top that's half made which is supposed to be souvenir of the time DH and I spend in Provincetown every fall. Unfortunately, I also have a lot of chores and errands that need to be done this weekend and a funeral to attend, so I may not get nearly as much sewing done as I would like.
