becca, I love the black and white border in that quilt. It really makes it stand out.
giquilt, those are such sweet blocks. Very pretty and well executed. Is every block going to be different? BTW, I say, do a block, clean for 5 minutes, do another block, clean for 3 minutes...
retiredteacher09, Such feminine colors...so lovely. I'm curious how it's all going to fit together. Please post more pix.
Jeanie, I LOVE 3-D quilts! Yours is amazing! Is this for a man in your life? I see lots of deer in there.

equigle5, Now that's interesting. I like the way that you joined the two color schemes together...cool!
sewextremeseams, Nice! One fishy, two fishy...Is the border meant to be "sand?" Very cute. Who is this for?

RaggieMom, I love the spring colors! That is going to look so pretty draped over a bed. There seems to be a trend at this quilt-along for springtime, Easter egg colors.
Retiredteacher09, those look great...what's a "Taggy Blanket?"
AnnaQuilts, OMG, what an undertaking...a KING size quilt...it's so big! It's truly beautiful!
OhCanada, Great Sampler quilt! I envy that you have a LA machine. I can't imagine getting the quilting done in just one day with my domestic. Take care.
OK, I think that I've seen everyone's stuff...amazing! I'll have another look through the posts, just in case I missed something. Thanks for all of the posts!

Wow, everyone is making progress.
Cindy the checkerboard is for a ministry called Beautiful Inspired who help Foster Kids feel special.
I'm designating today to 'put things away' day. I have sewing and craft items everywhere in my home and they need to get to where they belong so I know where they are when i need them.
Then, I am going to work on quilting some fabric so I can make a purse/tote for myself. I just couldn't bring myself to buy a purse yesterday while shopping since I have so many patterns printed out at home. Guilt had a good grip on me.
Valerie your quilt looks great. Be kind to yourself. Trying to get things done while being severely anemic is not an easy task.

So far today I managed to wash; dry; iron backing and binding fabric for a new baby quilt. I've also now marked and sandwiched the quilt as well. Hope to start the actual hand quilting either later this evening or tomorrow.

My goal is to have finished by the end of the weekend, my first FMQ block. I'm taking part in Leah Day's 2016 BOM and have never FMQ'd before. Hopefully it won't be too painful, since my practice has been messy, but I'm learning.
