Good cold (+5), snowy Super Bowl Sunday everyone. Thank-you for hosting this extra VQW.
Today I plan to finish quilting my “Chiefs”, quillow. It’s a row quilt with stripes of leftover scraps from another quilt I made years ago. I have this on my long arm and figured out my quilting pattern last night. I just need to put the pattern in my long arm and quilt it out. I will also be working on the pillow portion of the quillow. Then if I have time make two king size pillowcases from left over fabric. While I do that I will be printing out the Super bowl mystery quilt I signed up for. If I like it I will cut it out tomorrow and make over the next week. While watching the game I will pin rows together for 2 charity quilts that are 1/2 sewn. At 5PM it’s kick-off time and I’m glued to the game and eating -Izzy and chicken wings from Pizza Hut.

Heading into my sewing room now. I think I’m going to pick out fabrics for the My Favorite Color is Moda quilt. It’s a BOM. I like that it turns into a queen sized quilt. Also kind of putsing around to see what I can dive into next. No plans other than sewing today.

Have my projects laid out to work on, in and around watching some of the game later. I want to finish the background quilting for my 2020 BOM from Sew Crazy, it is slow going as I am stopping to bury the threads at each appliqué. Then I have the February 2021 BOM from pumpkinpatchbc.com monkey fused and ready to stitch down. If I get the 1st project finished and off the table, then I will sandwich the little baby quilt top I made for a new gr. great niece!

Have a few projects going this weekend.
#1: Rebinding a twin sized quilt that needed a new binding
#2: Finish sewing last 4 blocks for my "Party Poppers" quilt (Mystery Quilts Anonymous pattern) and sewing them into a top
#3: Pining (pinning?) a small wall-hanging for a guild challenge
and if I have time...
#4 FMQ a miniature wall hanging
Going to be a busy weekend (although I did start these on Friday). It is snowing up here, so I am hunkered down anyway. May as well be productive and "creative".
Thanks for hosting....

Called my parent last night and while brain and mouth were busy - I squared about a million HSTs and am set to finish my LeMoyne blocks (Missouri Star pattern) today.
The recipient is coming for a visit at the end of the month and it was just the inspiration to get this UFO out of storage. I'd love to have the flimsy done to show.

Again I may not finish this one as I have such a long way to go but to dedicate the day to just quilting and NO football is just up my alley. Today I will be working on blocks for a pineapple quilt. I will feel good if I get 10 blocks finished. I have completed 4 as of now and only 6 more for today. I am pluggin' away at them.
Thanks Raggiemom for hosting this weekend. Everyone stay safe today.

I am working on putting the blocks together which were finally revealed for the Canadian Quilt Association Mystery Quilt that I've been doing the last 4 months. There are 29 blocks, which makes me think that the setting is going to be on point, unless they are going to do a traditional setting and use a block in each corner.
I have also begun quilting my commission quilt, which is a baby grand piano cover based on the Missouri Star pattern "Finish Line". This is my first commission and I've learned a few things, that's for sure!
I also downloaded a UFO Chart here UFO Chart to keep track of my UFO's in style.

Oh gosh...is it that time already? I'm gonna have to pass on this one. I'm busy sewing leather couch cushions and have the machine set up for that right now. I'm here in spirit. I'll stop by and see what everyone is up to. Happy sewing!

Glad to see several have joined me. I finished my Celtic Sashiko class project today which was one of my goals. Then I spent some time looking up and printing off patterns for future sashiko
My other main accomplishment today was to get the taxes prepped. Now I need to do a couple household chores then we're going to watch Ironman.
See you all back here next weekend!

My goal is posting pictures. So far, I've posted an old picture on the fabric moretorium thread, resized it. Have pictures of the quilting project I'm working on and Cousin Dan got my computer working to do this. I'm stuck on getting pictures from camera to computer. Called him yesterday, he was busy, so I'm ready and will put in another call to him.
In the mean time, keep working on my wall hanging.
