Great colors Maniac.

I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone's doing. I'll be working on binding a UFO from 2013, and a WIP log cabin and trying to clean out enough junk to make a bigger design wall.

Working on one quilt for my great niece (84 x 96) and the second one is for a dear friend who lost her mother and sent me 4 of her night gowns to make her a quilt (with more fabric from me) and I will be able to work on my Featherweight on the kitchen counter sewing the blocks and while the hubby watches all the specials on TV in the adjoined family room. That little sewing machine is so quiet, he doesn't mind at all. Have a wonderful and safe holiday, everyone!!!

Yea, another VQA this weekend. Good day everyone. I like the projects pics several of you are doing.

I plan to cut out a few steps for Judy's mystery #13 table runner. (2) Finish one machine sewn binding for a UFO I want done. (3) Complete 20 blocks for the 1st BD candy QAL and add them to the other 80 blocks I have sewn together already. That should keep me busy for 2 days. Then it's back to work.

I'll have to pass this time, travelling to see family over the long weekend. I have some handwork to bring with me though!

Definitely need to join you all this weekend! I have been working on a very basic quilt for a young girl for MONTHS! And it needs to get done, along with 2 pillow cases. I am on the home stretch on the quilt, but I sew a bit - and then get distracted, which doesn't usually happen when I am so close to finishing. And if I keep focused and finish those three items I want to quilt a panel with a sleeping baby Dumbo for a baby yet to be born.

I had promised to go see the new "Alice Through the Looking Glass" today at 4 - and then it is my plan to get sewing.

Hi girls! I think I will join the group for the weekend sew in. I have been working on two this last week in between gardening and spring cleaning. Euww! Hate that task.
I have a log cabin version and a pin wheel quilt going and they are so close to being finished I can taste it. I will share pics as soon as I can.
I love the colors in the first pic of the quilt pieces and the second star is amazing!

Decided to work on this baby quilt while I'm waiting for tomorrow's mystery clue. My great niece is expecting and lives on a sheep farm so thought this was a good pattern to try. The yellow shows a truer colour in the 9 patch alone, weird lighting! There is no white sashing that's just the design wall.

I am in as well! Some of you already have a great start on the weekend! Tomorrow afternoon I am going to a tuffet class (part 1) so I will have something to show after that.

Our son has sold his home and closes on June 21 so we are planning to help them get some things packed and put into storage. If they don't find a home to buy soon, they will be camping out in our basement - I hope they can find the perfect place for them.

But Monday I believe I will have the whole day to sew - bliss!!!! I want to work on the quilting of my Allietare, it has been slow going lately.
