I’m in. Working on thread painting a panel that DH had printed from one of his photographs. It’s a long time UFO because I couldn’t decide what to do. But once I got started last month, it seems to be coming together pretty well. I’ve also got two other UFOs up on my design wall. I've mashed them together and they will become one piece once I decide what to use for the background. I also have my Helen Godden 2017 BOM to put together if I can come up with backing fabric and something to use for sashing between the already quilted blocks.

I don't have all the borders made but was anxious to see what it is going to look like. Didn't even get all the blocks up.

I'm in. Finished the pillow cases I've been working on for months; 23 of them and 21.5 yds fabric.

Now I'm going to sandwhich a UFO, finish it so it can hang in my studio. It reminds me of a deceased friend=fond memories.

Cam's gram, loving what you are working on I see as a QOV, but I know you need that third color to establish that. This is gorgeous hopefully you can complete your goal on it. May I ask the pattern name? I am just doing mask making this weekend and a couple of aprons to mail to Cali to a cousin of mine.

Everyone enjoy your weekend of sewing and next scheduled VQW hopefully I will be making that Georgia move, prayerfully

Stay safe everyone

Cherrybsixty, the quilt pattern is Summer Lake Log Cabin by Judy Martin. That's what it's for, our bedroom at the lake.

I will get some sewing in I'm sure. Brought my car to the dealership today for some scheduled work, left it as I didn't want to wait around the waiting room with a mask on for four hours, so will be picking it up in the AM. Got the awful four letter word coming tomorrow, "snow", maybe up to 8" worth, a few weeks ago it was beautiful as I posted a picture, but Mothers Day weekend, come on Mother Nature, lets get summer going, or at least spring. But either way, it will be beautiful as it will stick to everything. But, it will be a perfect day to sew since it will be so miserable outside. Plan to visit with my daughter and the two grands Sunday, can't wait to see them, it's been since February. Will probably get some sewing in after the visit. Pushing myself currently at the sewing machine. I made over 40 placemats from scraps last winter, and am forcing myself to finish them just so they will be done and not haunt me on the shelf any longer, then I want to load one of the tops I finished earlier this winter on the midarm to stitch up. I have been practicing stippling, so am anxious to put it on a quilt. Enjoy your time sewing everyone. Quiltingvegabond, love those blocks, can't wait to see them in a quilt.

Thanks Cam's gram for the fast response, I have a daughter name Cameron-Nicole and a grandson named Cameron, I'm a little favorite to the name.

Stay safe

Sheesh...it’s snowing this morning and it is May 9th. I have plenty of projects to work on today. I have a scrappy Irish chain that needs to be loaded on the longarm which I purchased 5 1/2 yards of backing yesterday. I also purchased binding fabric so that I can finish my Doug Leko quilt. But first, I need to take my Real Estate final exam online at 8:30 this morning via ZOOM. I have been studying all week.

I’ll be going down to my sewing room soon. Now I’m workingon Moda modern building blocks (I think that’s the name). I started it a couple years ago using the kit fabrics which are all solids. Of course, now my tastes have changed. So I’m redoing it using red and white fabrics.
