I have that same panel and the coordinating fabrics! Called Ribbit-ing! Thought it looked familiar! I LOVE FROGS! I bought all this a couple of years ago at my LQS, all she had was the picture, the panel and some of the fabs, and I bought another purple that matched it. It is all bagged up together in my closed, forgot about it til I saw your pics! You did a great job on yours, love it!

The one under the bentwood case is a Singer 128 with LaVencedora decals. It's from the 20's and is electric and has a knee lever control.

I've been working on trimming up my 3" stars and was going to try making some 1/4" bias tape for a stained glass quilt project - and discovered I don't have the clover bias maker that is designed to be used with the fusable tape. I can use it anyway though. I came downstairs to find the black fabric I bought for the project.

I took a break earlier and made raspberry shortcake for DH - don't want him to get to feeling neglected while I'm spending the weekend sewing.
That is gorgeous all of our old singers are treadles. I have a Hexagon in a round top but it does not have a table. Love sewing with machines that are set into tables.

Sorry but I don't know how to link it. I just looked up half rectangle triangles.

I finished the following blocks today: one for Judy's Mystery Train # 9, HST Challenge block, 1/2" squares, and selected 1/2" squares for another block. I also organized more strips from the donation.

I hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th.

Connie,

Thank you so very much...I found the link and figured out that I needed to add 1/2 in to finished size of rectangle. (Second time .. but I am learning). This will work great for my 20 blocks of 4 units each. I only had a slight trim after joining the units to make the 4-1/2 x 6-1/2 block.

Those trees are really nice! (but I have to tell myself, NO NEW IDEAS) will need to save it for my "someday" file.

Got all started with the long arm, and it broke the thread and the timing was off. DH did some searching and watched a few videos, and got it fixed. The problem was the needle bar had slipped up a bit, probably with all the moving around we did getting the prostitcher installed - or who knows . . . He's done a lot of work with my vintage machines, so this wasn't a big deal once he got the info he needed.

Finally back in business - I'm doing a sort of 4 -leaf clover pattern, just all over the field.

The cat - she found a better place to rest.

Now I have to run up town to get some groceries - the price of fixing my long arm is a batch of rice crispy treats.

Love all the pictures, I took a break from the GFG to do a little hand work on the Craftsy BOM with Jinny Beyer, I am trying to do as much by hand as possible. I still have not started the applique but I think I only have one more block to get together and I am caught up to June. Here is a pic of how it is coming, I plan on redoing the first block to give it more color. I still have to put the paper piece to the top of one of the blocks. I've been doing all hand sewing this weekend.

Time to get back to the GFG need to make more diamonds so I can attach the next flower. This quilt is one my DH's Grandmother started, I am just adding the black and green to make it a memory GFG only 13 more flowers to add.

Default Card Trick

I finished this card trick yesterday. I added a 4" gold border and backed it with fleece. Now on to the next project.
