Wow great accomplishments Everyone. I haven't checked in much as I seem to be busier now being retired then I was when I was working lol. I did finish getting the fabric walk-in closet all organized, even started putting project totes together-hey its kinda rewarding to shop from my own stash I also managed to make a new table runner & kitchen window valance. The next project will force me to learn photo printing on fabric & learning my new accuquilt. Thanks for hosting, this has helped me a lot. Happy Monday & have a great week Everyone

Thank-you you Tropit and Dedemac for your information about Stevia with canning. It helps.

SBG, I like what you did with your 6” border On the Round Robin top. It will be a very pretty top when done. The top looks like one person used their stash and not several individual.

until next month, Happy sewing/quilting everyone!!!

Well, I didn't quite achieve my goal. I am completing the last block of my table runner this morning. I had hoped to have at least all the blocks finished over the weekend. Life got in the way on Saturday. So no pictures today. The plan is to have in done in a few days any way so I will have a pic for next month along with something new to share for the VQW. I did manage to get 1 /12 blocks finished of the Bears Paw blocks I am making finished. I only wish the weekend was a day longer.

QuiltingVagabond - I'm not familiar with that pattern, but Googled it - OMIGosh is right!!!! That must look *amazing*

I managed to get 2 penguin blocks fused but not yet appliqued (scheduled that for next weekend, hopefully), and also figured out my stencil for the Christmas tree skirt quilting. Today I have done a bit over a quarter of the quilting needed to finish that part. Then I get to cut into my work to make it a useable tree skirt, and then of course binding. I haven't done this before, so am really really hoping I don't mess it up!! Still, finish the quilting first, panic about breaking it later...

Hope to see you again for the next VQW!

I finished quilting a project today- needs trim and binding. But not bad progress for a hot July.

got my friends king size quilt delivered today--too huge to take a picture (do photos upstairs but too much dog hair right now to spread it out). Did get my two small pieces ready to quilt and have one about 1/2 finished. Hope to work on it more tomorrow but have to cut Hubs hair and then we go to the oncologist to talk treatment for him.

Bonus: finish guild mystery quilt

Yes on a Labor Day VQW! I need the distraction and have plenty of quilting to do.
Where did the time go this past week-end? I did get the UFO finished completely for the Project Linus quilt! (#2) Ta-Da. Half of the orphan blocks finished and must get the large quilt ready today for drop off to the long arm quilter. Moderate success! Looking forward to our next VQW. Love these concentrated amounts of time designated to just a few tasks. They work for me!
