Good morning everyone thought I'd get an early start, but my ole back speaks to me and says to sit for a while. So a couple cups of coffee I will sip. I notice that I really need to edit my post before I submit.

Giquilt #59, love me a scrappy and a scrappy flower, WOW!!! Not crazy about technology

Copycat #55, looking forward to seeing that one pictured in the "UFO Challenge," thread when finished

Rob, you are a true artist, you always notice the true fine details

My plans for today is to do some more hand embroidering while there is still some daylight, the weatherman is predicting heavy storms for the afternoon hours. To pull the second charity off the floor and on to the DSM. If I don't get left in the dark to long to start cutting of that 'Craftsy,' pattern. Well, as my ole Grandfather would say "better get started gurlie."

Happy sewing everyone

I"ll be working on my first challenge ever. I decided to enter the Hoffman challenge this year. Being an oil painter, the fabrics just spoke to me this year, so I decided to enter. I have only June left to finish and although I have all the ideas now, I still have a lot to stitch down and then sandwich and quilt. I'll post a picture after the due date. I've never done anything like this and have gotten disgruntled along the way, but last week I got my mojo back and it's full speed ahead now!

What a cheery, happy quilt, Giquilt!

copycat, hope you will show us your Take 5 again after quilting. Your plan sounds pretty.

Watson, that is a LOT of quilt! But I love the quilting I see in your setting triangles. And to think you did that on your dsm! Impressive....

Macybaby, I'm sure your hubby bought you a new machine!

I spent time last night cutting up scraps into strips and squares of usable size. Whew! The scraps were out of control!

Then I moved on to my hand quilting of this quilt. The center is done, and I'm working on the borders now. Gotta think of something cute to do in the white area.

I am in this time for sure. I always wanted to in the past but things always got in the way. I have a ton to do so I'll just pick something & get started. I'm getting a late start but there is still a lot of time left in this week-end & what better way to spend it than with my quilting buddies. You guys & gals are all such an inspiration to me with all of your gorgeous projects. So let's all have a safe & happy week-end & get busy!

This will keep me busy for the weekend.

Love what every one else is working on.

Best wishes for a peaceful Memorial Day.

Loved seeing everyone's photos so far! Heading out with my walk group this morning but bought some more fabric yesterday for borders for my peacock project, so hope to work on that this afternoon. It is not a long weekend here, but every weekend is a long one, now that I'm retired, so will keep stitching and enjoying everyone's work.
