Visit to JoAnn,s today

Joann must not have nationwide pricing, because I was very disappointed when I went there yesterday morning to find Christmas fabric 60% off and all other fabric 30% off.
Any of you from the MN/western WI area should check out the Mill End Textile stores if they are within a reasonable driving distance. All week their bolts of fabric are 50% off and they have Benartex, Red Rooster, Windham, and a lot more I can't think of at the moment. Usually the price is $5.99 per yard, so that brought it down to $3 per yard! I could have spent all day and all my money there, I had so much fun.
Most of their fabrics are of beautiful quality, but some are blemished one way or another. I recommend a good visual scan of the bolt before having it cut. For such a good price, I'll gladly take the time to do so.
Oh how I wish they would open a store in my area, but right now I can only shop there when I visit my mom in Eau Claire. That means whenever I shop there I have feelings of guilt that a. I'm not spending time with my family that I've traveled three hours to visit, and b. my family is watching my children so I can shop. Perhaps it's a good thing, or I would devote way too much time to finding the perfect fabrics and not enought time sewing. I love choosing fabrics!

Joann's will be having a New Year's sale beginning Thursday through Jan. 2. There is an extra 10% off coupon that came in the sales flyer. Remember to take your flyer into the store and have it scanned in order to remain on their mailing list.
