I provided them w/ Sharpie Fabric markers that I got at Hobby Lobby.
i soaked a block that i drew on in some cold water, so it should be fine when it washes.
I took the white blocks, drew a line that they couldn't go beyond (3/8"). I also had frixion pens that if someone wanted to draw their picture before using the black and red, if there was a mistake, then i just took my iron and POOF - the ink disappeared and they could draw again.

Becca, I love your quilt for your principal. I'm sure she will appreciate all the effort put into it. What a keepsake for her! Congratulations on your initial idea and the follow-through!

I finished 2 Christmas stockings for donation to a group that fills them with goodies for the military. I also completed"Pilate's Wife", the 33rd block for the BOW "Women of the Bible" I'm making for my BFF of 60 years. I have the directions for the 34th block "Queen of Sheba" so I'll work on that tomorrow. I had to watch the Blackhawks game tonight.

Today I did a craft fair and houseguests arrive tomorrow! I won't be free to sew again until next Thursday, but I'll be poking my head in here to see what you are are getting done. Great projects, so far!

Well - I went to a quilt show yesterday, does that count? I actually finished the last of 20 scrappy star blocks on Friday night so I did get some quilting done. Today is church and we are taking family pictures at our farm this afternoon and supper after so no quilting today. Enjoy your Virtual quilting day.

I am sewing crossways on a quilt for DGS that I hope to get finished in time to give to him in October. (his sister's is all done).
It is just squares, scrappy, in blues and greens. Will see if I can post a picture of the top. Listening to my cassette tapes of Phantom of the Opera while sewing.

I made 5 queen sized quilts for Christmas presents! One is completely done the others at the longarmer to get quilted so I can bind them and wrap them. Now what do I do? Lots of UFOs to finish though and decided to make a pillow for a friend and then there is the last minute things - guess I will be busy after all.

I sewed one side border on last night and got the other one pinned. I hope I can finish that border today and at least get the outer border strips cut. I am also close to finishing a binding -- I might be able to finish today and wash the quilt early tomorrow for drying outside.
