I sew in my bedroom, and have no wall space, but I can definitely do this in the unused part of the closet!!

Watch for the " before school sales" they tend to be cheaper then..

I bought some for @ $4 for the large size/normal milk crate size ( got several sizes that all stack) at the dollar store

that is exactly what I have been doing for years.........but my crates are on a shelf unit...two high for each shelf. It is a great way (for me) to see and sort fabric.........and easy to "ADD" to the collection
