I never take my walking foot off (because it is a pain to switch foots). I think it works wonders.

the Walking Foot I purchased via an EBay Business Seller was $17.00 (yes, seventeen dollars and change) with a ten percent discount, about a year ago.

Today will add binding to a king size quilt. Will use the walking foot because of the many positive comments here!
