My first thought was something healing and soothing. Aqua comes to mind for a color, with an interesting graphic design. Perhaps even all solids.

Our hospital had a saying printed for marketing....Love Life! You could use these words somewhere on your wall hanging!

A collage of medical related subjects comes to mind. If you do not do this type of quilting, pay an artist to do the collage, then copy it into a quilt.just a thought.
