I think the smiling sun in pink/blue should be okay. I like that idea and its child friendly.

Just something to keep in mind, but please don't rely on just color for the different signs. Kids can be color-blind and they would just look the same. I like Superman & Wonder woman! Distinctive!

This one is great, but is it obvious enough for a pre-schooler?

Batwoman and Batgirl (yes they are two different characters) comics are huge in my house, how's about a pic of Batman and a pic of Batwoman or Batgirl? There's also Superman and Supergirl!! If you want the child versions check Google, my niece has a stack of children's superhero board books with those characters and many others. I agree about the skirts, I'm female and I never wear skirts lol neither does my daughter.

I think a princess and a prince right now would be popular.

I had no idea there were so many sign/symbols available!

The only one I don't "get" is the one that looks like a male peeking over a wall!

The ones with "droplets" seem to be "universal" - but might "offend" the prudish types.

Is your clientele multi-cultural?

So - what might be understandable/obvious to one group, may not be so to another group.

How can you indicate a boy's or a girl's bathroom without indicating gender?
