I went to my local WM last night to get some white out when I ran into the woman that works in the fabric dept. She said I had to go back to fabrics as they just put 4 huge tables of fabric on sale for $1.00 ! Their new fabric is coming in and they need to make room. I got 42 yards of fabric for $40.00 tax included !!! It's not substandard sale fabric, most of it was origionally $2.95 - $4.50. The Valentine fabric was on sale for .68 -.73 per yard ! If you have a WM that still has fabric run, don't walk before someone else gets there !!!

Lucky you! None of the walmarts here have fabric...

I'm jealous! Our new fabric department manager won't mark anything down unless she is forced too and that doesn't happen too often. She is more worried about the books and party supplies.

Ours only marks things down by $.50 to $1.00, but I need a few non fabric things so I'll check later. One can always hope. Wait a minute, I'm on a fabric moratorium. Whoops.

I had to pay $2.50/yrd, but still a bargan. DH was in Walmart to get a phone card and seen the display, came home and took me back to walmart to get some. Even called Pat P on the board and asked her if she wanted some too. Carried everything out to the Jeep for me and took me out to supper, because shopping for all the fabric bargans can ware a gal out. Isn't he great.
