I haven't bought any in a while but my last roll cost $199. I haven't opened it yet.

all i can say is that it's getting very difficult to "just enjoy the hobby"... i'm am fortunate, that price is not a huge issue, but we didn't get to this point by wasting our money, so it's a habit for us to "shop and get the best deal".. the internet is a great way.. i do not have a business, so i don't need huge amounts,, but i do like to have a stock of things i want... Connecting Threads 80/20 (previously mentioned).. seemed a very good deal to me i bought i think either king or queen size. 4 rolls... free delivery to my door for well under 50 dollars... didn't have to "drive" or get dressed up to shop... LOL... i'm a happy camper... just wanted to share my story..

I bought a 40 yard roll when Joann had a 50% off coupon, online. With tax and shipping, it was $6.25 a yard.

The price of cotton has gone up considerably. Our hobbie just keeps getting more expensive.
