I thought that the warm and natural seemed thinner then when I started quilting. I picked up a polyester batting (think I have been spelling that one wrong) to try this time, it is a lap quilt so thought this a good time to see what I think of it.The wool would be nice, maybe next time. It is not that easy to find in this area, though.

Polyester is not warmer than cotton or wool.

Thanks for the information, wool is warm, I know. As far as the warm and natural, not all that happy with its warmth, not in my house anyways.

I only use polyester batting in my quilts, high loft. Warm without the weight or worry of it shrinking and ruining the quilt. Low loft is very thin and not real warm.

I agree with your thoughts on the polyester. I am finding it good to FM on. Am happy with it so far. Thanks.
