I made a corduroy quilt for camping many years ago. We loved it, but I don't camp anymore.

I made quilts years ago for our trailer. Used double knit fabric squares on one side and red corduroy for a backing. My boys used them in the dorms when they went to college and they are both married and have familys and they each still use their college quilt (as they called them) Their wives love them for curling up in on a cold winter night and their kids love them. You can't destroy them. Especially after 4 years of dorm use. They were dragged all over, even football games. So go for it. It will last longer than you or I
