Years ago, a friend of mine made a quilt out of yo yos. It was really pretty. If you don't want to do a quilt, maybe a bed runner would be an option.

I know someone who made a vest out of them. It's quite pretty.

Yes, this. Maybe use some stronger/thicker fabric like Kaufman Kona.

I saw a lady with a Christmas vest of yoyos a couple years ago. The back was regular fabric, and the front was 'see thru" between the yoyos. Very catchy!

My grandmother made darling yo yo men with painted wooden heads and bead hands and feet. she then turned them into marionettes. I didn't play with dolls much as a kid, but I loved those.
