Me too. I just bought a Laurel Burch fabric that is black, grey and some kind of funky reddish-rust-cranberry looking thing. I hope I can match it. I'm glad I didn't order the red on line. It would never have gone. Good luck with your chase!

Last wk I was stumped trying to find rose color yardage. The stores have pale pink, hot pink, reddish pink ,a purple pink....but no rose.
Was afraid to trust colors on line & finally bought the 2yds I needed. It's close, but still not the perfect rose.
The one I need, of course!

I needed a grey for a cat quilt. For some reason it was hard to find the right shade of solid grey!

Come to St. Paul. There is purple all over the place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gold too!!!!!! I started this seriously - I don't use much purple and I guess other Minnesota quilters may not either, but the Vikings are Purple and Gold and it just fell together. Go Vikes!!!!! Don't look for Moss here! Edie

Rose is a tough one. Blue is considered to be the hardest color to match. Blue is somewhat unforgiving --if you don't get the right blue, you can tell. Other colors will blend more.

I think that is so funny! I have been looking for Rose colored fabrics too. Very hard to find a real rosey red.
