This would be my choice, too. I am making a quilt right now of quite dark purple tone on tone with paisley. I am adding a little lighter purple and an ocean green. The green looks great with the purple. It's not really a green green. It looks more like a green-grey tone on tone. I haven't even figured out what I'm going to do with this quilt, but I have the medallion center finished and don't know where to go from there. I'll have to sleep on it a few more nights and maybe I'll get some inspiration.

Love the designs and shades of all there, you can't go wrong with what ever you do. I do think the grey or the dark purple would add on but mainly I would love to see it completely finished, Please.

I'd try very soft sage or moss green, if you decide to add. However, the plain squares quilt would be wonderful with those great fabrics. Adding a sashing to each block might be too distracting.

Oh, my goodness you made this hard!

I decided on a simple pattern that I could utilize my fat quarters. I would have bought 1/2 yards if I had thought more carefully, but this pattern does pretty good.

I'm using http://www.villarosadesigns.com/shop...-x16567970.htm

I will be using the darkest purple some of you recommended for the rails and the binding.

That is unless I change my mind and go with the triangles. If I do the triangles, I will still use the dark purple for the background.

I love your fabrics. I think I might try a soft cream instead of white or black. Love the triangle quilt but I think a black would not make your fabrics pop but give it a dark side. A cream or very pale gray would give a nice pop to your beautiful fabrics. Love to see the finished quilt.

you need a bright color to make these pop, like a bright yellow, gold or white.
