what color thread to use on this quilt for FMQ?

I just asked a similar question and found out that others have good luck with Infisifil 100 wt. I'm going to try it. You don't see much of the stitching. I have a tablerunner that has cream and dark colors and I didn't like the way the stitches showed up on the dark fabrics. And I'm not very good at FMQ yet so I don't want them to be so obvious.

I like to blend my thread with my fabric. Because this is your first FMQ I would do this. You will not notice any wobbles as much if blending the thread. You might try a very pale yellow or peach if you have them. (You will be surprised how well the blend. I’m not so sure about on these solids though). If I could not find a good blender for both fanatics, I would change threads to match the fabric. I use the same thread in the bobbin. Helps with tension and not seeing a different color show up on the front (from the back).

Excellent idea. Quilt all the blue rows first then the red or vice versa.

I would use taupe as it will blend nicely. I fmq curves much better than straight lines so I would go with a stripple in the turquoise and red and then some sort of straight lines in the center of each block. What ever you decide, your quilt is very beautiful and I'm sure the finished quilt will be gorgeous.
