I am thinking of making Log Cabins, one each of two different designs.
Stick with the green, yellow, tans & browns. And so the log cabins--maybe using the same fabrics for both but each set in a different pattern.

Sounds like a great idea -- same colors but different.

Maybe make a unisex themed quilt? My brother isn't finding out what they are having so I am making The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

How about a theme quilt like Dick and Jane, wizard of oz, one of the classics that never go away...

I like the idea of making the other quilt red (I know Mom likes red) but do you think that is too much like Christmas?

I was thinking of making the other quilt a floral log cabin. That way it is a more girly quilt without having to be a specific color. I am attaching a few pictures.

I also like the idea of a yellow quilt. My problem is that I know this horrible camp song that involves green and yellow and I just can't think of anything else when I think about making a green and yellow quilt.
