It's 8.30 in the morning here - but yesterday I just sulked because a wonderful workshop I was to attend was cancelled. This morning I am going to buy some plain white fabric so I can start sorting out my siggie blocks - that should make me feel better!

I ordered several FQ from the Quilting Board and got the bid on some on ebay today. I think that I about have enough to start my Dear Jane. I am going to do it all in Civil War reproductions. Realy looking forward to getting started on it, but will wait until I have the CD & the rest of the fabric that I have ordered

I love Joann's and their sales. I am finishing up a fruit basket quilt and bought 1/2 yard of purple batik and a half yard of a soft yellow batik. And, of course, thread.

I went to Joann's yesterday with a 40% off and a 50% off coupon, plus an AQS 10% discount card. I bought a Mary Englebreit fun looking sewing book, 7/8 of a yard of Kona plain turquoise fabric (50% off because it was the last of the bolt) a pretty photo box for my fat quarters (40% off), and last, but not least a 9 & 1/2" square ruler. That was something I'd been looking for. My total came to $21.56. Not bad for a haul like that, huh? I love those Joann's coupons, don't y'all? 8-)

I had a class today at a quilt shop about 50 miles away. They had fat quarters for $1 if you bought 20. I bought 33!

This week I treated myself to 2 Valentine orders from two online stores--well, everything was on sale! I got FQs, yardage, books and a kit. Now I am looking out the window for the mailman. BTW, was in my WalMart today and all the fabric was gone. I thought the notions might be discounted since it looks like this one is going the way of so many others. Not so. Regular price for everything else. Wonder if they will have a clearance on notions??
