I am uninformed. I had no idea it was National Quilt day. I did celebrate in style, got a quilt on the rack and started out a new technique. Totally loving it too.

I was a frustrated Irish Quilter. Wanted to sew, wanted to celebrate St. Paddy's Day, and the weather was so glorious I wanted to be outside. In hindsight, I should have brought the sewing machine out on the covered front porch, opened a Guinness and paid homage to everything simultaneously. After the sun set, I finished piecing a bowtie table topper. Will post a pic when I have it quilted.

Our quilt guild sponsored internationally renown Jan Krentz to give an open-to-the-public trunk show. I had a fabulous time, got all cranked up with inspiration, came home and finished a small UFO that had been hanging on my design wall for over a year.
