Didn't know it was down. Worked on quilt for stepgreatgrand. Made a bib for her, too. And made a mug rug to match a school bus mug for her older cousin who's been the queenie so far.
My own, 4th grand is on the way----------inducing in the am and expected tomorrow afternoon-------------OR EARLIER!

Studied for my State Nursing Exam, I just finished Nursing School and am scheduled to take it next Tuesday to get my Nursing License. During my study breaks I worked on the quilt I am making for quiltsforkids.org. I am hoping to have it finished so I can send it next week as well :) Oh yeah, and fed the kids, and did their laundry, etc., etc. :)

I did the bed laundry, too. Also washed a couple heavy flannel mattress covers I thought about using for the step great grand's quilt. The smaller one is cotton, and very heavy and takes forever to dry. The bigger one is a poly/cotton blend. Much lighter and drys faster .. It's going to be the "batting" in the blanket.

I also thought it was my PC. My DGS has been using my laptop, but he's back at his mom's now. So, I found my laptop and tried it. When this site still didn't come on, I figured it wasn't my problem. While I was waiting for site to come back (yes, I'm addicted, too.), I sewn on 1930s blocks and even read a little. I'm reading an Emilie Richards mystery at night -- it's wonderful!
