Well , Yesterday, I got all the blocks cut and whatever was needed to do for a quilt, which meant sewing a few blocks together for applique' . got all the applique's ironed on and all the blocks in order (per the quilt). Now I have to walk away for a week ..cause I am taking my "girl" into the dealer tomorrow morning for a good cleaning and service ( much needed) and she'll be there for a week.....it's about 85 miles away from here! I am having withdrawals and have been all weekend! I have my little machine but this is an event! Pray for me !

I am working on a memorial bed runner of my dad for my brother for Christmas. Came to a hault when I decided I wanted to put a small white border and I do NOT have any white in my stash. Not a color I buy so tomorrow first stop is to the LQS across from my house for some white to continue on with it.

Learned all about my new Babylock Sophia 2 machine! Got it to use as a travel machine since my Bernina was getting too heavy to lug around. Also tried English Paperpiecing - really enjoyed making a mug rug out of my pieces. Made two paperback book covers for my husband's aunt - one Christmas fabric and one in Black/White; then I started the Bonnie Hunter Orca Bay mystery quilt. Going to go swap the laundry and keep working on that for the rest of this evening.

    wow - i did a lot!

I finished two table runners for my mother's birthday today. I made a fall one and a Christmas one. She liked them but asked that if I make her one next time make it longer and wider. As my dh says "That's your mother" (He should talk I made his parents a quilt for their bed and I have never seen it on their bed)

Now I have to machine quilt a top that I made years ago. My neice had a friend who is pregnant and they just found out that she is having a girl. The top is a large star in pale pink and pale green. I need to do this and send it out so they can give it to her at the baby shower next week.

I almost forgot about the 15 pillowcases at the the sewin yesterday for ConKerr Cancer
