    Now you have put the fat in the fire :!: The subject of pre-washing fabrics is a huge argument.

    I don't, never have, never will. I have confidence in the fabrics I use as I only buy reputable named manufactures of quilting fabric and I know that a lot of quilters will scream in horror but I have never had a catastrophe, yet [img]http://bestsmileys.com/fingers/1.gif[/img]

    I was thinking that since the quarters are basically darks with mediums mixed in and the brown is dark I'll have no problem. I wasn't planning on washing, but I've never used batiks before and didin't know if they bleed.
