I would use it for backing on quilts, that would soak up a bunch of yards!

Wow that is alot of flannel. I make burp cloths for babies, and receiving blankets. Also, flannel makes great mummy liners for sleeping bags, I velcro the liners to the inside of the sleeping bags.

Our Guild has been told to make flannel backings for our hospice quilts. Perhaps you have a similar situation in your area.

Why not make some diapers out of some of it to donate to a charity. Or receiving blankets???

Heck, why not make some all-flannel quilts? I love the raggy jackets too!

You are soooo lucky. I love flannel. I use it for all of my backings. I find they get used more when I give them for gifts and I know I use mine everyday so warm. I also use for my bindings. I also use it for the batting if I want a light throw quilt for the couch, or a table cloth. Have fun and don't forget to post what you make.

LOL I saw that sale too but I passed. I normally do not use flannel as it tends to fuzz up my whole machine and quilting room. I was thinking rag quilts, backs on baby quilts and baby quilts. It all looked really nice. Any left? Maybe I will check it over the weekend. Simply no time. I really liked the owl print. Did you get some of that?

Yes, this for baby blankets to take along and for summer quilts.
