It looks like the repeat from side to side isn't continuous. So you could cut out squares? rectangles? and use them in any block that has a large inside. Attic window would be one, carpenter's wheel replacing the center star, a block like a picture frame. Look at quilter's cache to select a block. Choose the size depending on what size you would need to cut the trees.
I like this idea too!

Do you have to make a quilt? It would make a nice tote or beach bag too. Line it with a bright yellow or teal.

A snowball quilt would look nice with different colored corners.

There's a great book called "Just Can't Cut It" for all those fabrics we just can't cut. My grandkids always seem to pick this type of fabric pattern, so I've used the book a lot.

Don't know if this has been suggested or not, but I have seen "flip flop" quilts (with thong sandals) and this would make a real cute border for it.

The new McCalls Quick Quilts has a quilt with cowboy border type fabric as the focus fabric. If you can look in the magazine, you might get some more ideas.

You can actually see the pattern on their website. Saves having to try and find the magazine.

Just from a different perspective: You could make a quilt with other fabrics that match your tree fabric (batiks maybe?) and then use the tree fabric for matching pillowcases or shams if you don't want to cut it up.
