What a beautiful piece, looks like a pillow panel, but it would also make the lovely center of a wall hanging.

Wall hanging or table topper.

This is basicly what I wanted to say. I'm with her. I think it would look great as a wall hanging.

That panel is so beautiful. I love the prints that show the cardinals as a pair. Let us know what you make from it.

that is a nice piece. I think I would do a wall hanging so it would last longer. It wouldn't need to be washed as often as other projects.

Gorgeous, I agree with making it a wall hanging. Just keep adding colors to go with it or contrast with it until it is the size you want.

All great ideal. I take and (because i'm a large woman) I get a out dated sweat shirt and cut out the front and put the birds on it.

I'm going with the idea to make it the center of a quilt ... check out the round robins here to see how the swap partners each add something that enhances the center and makes it pop more. You could make it anywhere from a lap quilt to a bed-sized quilt, depending on how many rounds you want to add and how ambitious you are. Even three rounds at 6" each would make a nice lap quilt about 48" square.
