I put the used blade on a piece of duct tape and fold over to cover then toss.

I have a container similar to Cindi's.

I have separate rotary cutters, one set for fabric only and another set for paper and whatever. Have them labeled as such. When the fabric blade is at its end for cutting fabric and they've been sharpened at least once, then I move them over to the "paper rotary" cutter till they no longer cut paper for me. I keep the containers that my blades come in and throw them into the container till its full then I toss them.

Snooze2978, that is a great idea to get more use from a rotary blade.

I use duct tape too and wrap it up and throw it out.

i'm stealing this idea, I'm about to get another jar so this is perfect and can go into the recycle bin when finished.

The cheese container idea is wizard! That's what I'm going to do from now on.

We have a recycle/reuse store here in town and businesses drop off new items they don't want and won't use. I got this little container for $1.00 and love it. I put my blades, pins and needles inside. It's 6" tall so I've only emptied once so far. When I went in for a physical I took it with me and the nurse emptied it into their large container for me Sorry the picture is so larger, couldn't figure out how to shrink it!

I inject myself weekly with Enbrel and have a sharps container. Never thought of using it for used pins, needles or rotary blades. It's sent back to Enbrel Support when full and they send me a new one.

Cheese container sounds great! Now to empty mine........
