I could easily leave behind the cutting and the piecing and just sit and hand quilt all day long. But...because I love the finished product I do it all and I LA the quilting on most of my quilts. Only the special ones get hand quilting because it just takes to darn much time to do it on all the quilts. I still consider myself a "Quilter".

I love love love to piece and do the binding. It is really relaxing to me sandwhiching quitting and cutting gets me sometimes. Sadiemai, I love doing bindings and would love a bff who bass lots of them to do. I also like mine to be least 1" not sure why but I like a thicker binding.

I think another problem I have is I get horrible back spasms when I sit too long at my sewing machine. I've tried changing my sewing table, my sewing chair, the height of my sewing chair all sort of things and when I sit to sew I can only sew for about 15 minutes before I feel the twinger, then after about 30 minutes I have to completely stop.

You are someone who has a love of quilting and has found a particular niche for herself ... and you are a real blessing to others.
