What do you do with 30's repro fabric?
#27
I love the 30s fabric (perhaps because I was born in the 30s). I presently have a Grandmother's Flower Garden (GFG) quilt and Double Wedding Ring quilt (WIP) using 30s fabric. What I especially like about it, if you do not know exactly how much fabric is needed for a particular quilt, you can just go out and by more, even though you may have to add additional prints. They all look good together. When I started the GFG, I had no idea how many flowers it would take to make the quilt, since I had not settled on the size; same with the double wedding ring.
Loved the samples shown here.
