What do you do with all your finished quilts?

I have three full size quilts for myself, my kids have more than enough quilts so now I give them to charity or if I hear of someone with a terminal illness I give them away. Because I love to make quilts I prefer they get used.

I make some particularly for friends*; my grandkids (one a new quilter) like getting quilts still.
And, I make on commission and for charities.
* I've made 9 or 10 I-Spy quilts, appliquing circles onto backgrounds of their favorite colours and using fussy cuts (don't like that term) of objects that have some meaning for each one.

All of mine have gone to the children(I have four), grandchildren (I have seven) and friends (I have MANY) and extended family (Bunches of those too). I haven't made one for myself yet, but I do have it planned.

I also make lap robes for Hospice patients (too many to count). I have ten done this last few weeks.

If there is a retirement home near you I'm sure they would love them. You could always surprise a neighbor or check with the local hospital to see if they could use them especially for new mother's. I could go on forever but I will stop. Most of my quilts have gone to family, only because I haven't made too many yet.

I have a few I have made for myself and hubby. Both my boys have special quilts. I have made my mom three, my dog has one( which is big, she is 136pds). I'm definitly a busy quilter, I have made a couple picture memorial quilts as well. I have only been quilting about three or four years. I caught the quilt bug!!!
