Anything that is smaller than what I want to use I throw in a plastic bag. That bag goes to a fellow quilter who makes pillows for the local animal shelter. All these scraps are used to stuff the pillows.

I save them in a bag and give them to a quilting friend who makes pet beds out of them for the local pet rescue.

If you get to where you you DON'T want to use them for a sewing project, check with local elementary art teachers, etc. to see if they can use them for class projects. Our quilting group does that. :-)

I wouldn't end up doing anything with them, so I'm throwing all my smaller scraps into a box that I will eventually offer here to someone who would use them.

I keep them for future use. I love the cat pic!
