I enjoyed this question too. Obviously so has others-- 15 pages worth lol.
I have enjoyed listening to the an audio Bible podcast. Love having it read to me and it gives me reflection time while I am giving myself some me time. If anyone wants the website to the downloads- let me know.

Otherwise-I have a small TV and just have it on for background noise sometimes.

The purr of my machine. Music is distracting to me. Just like to be in my own head. LOL

The majority of the time just peace and quiet then I listen to the purr of my cats. One in front of the machine looking out and the other at the doorway looking in...the TV but I haven't tried the music scene yet.

Classical music, something soft & soothing or just the quiet sounds of birds and breeze in the summer.

My husband and I differ greatly on what we like to hear, I prefer music and he prefers noise. I espeially like soothing classical as opposed to his laud yelling and banging. The only place I can listen to my music is our guest room (my sewing corner is in it) and sometime I practice my songs for our community theater. Wish you could all come see our versions of "Fiddler on the Roof" "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat" and "Music Man":)

I listen to Irish Pub music and Irish Rebellion music. Drives my husband crazy but my dog loves it. LOL
